Water Resisting/Waterproofing: Boys' Original Boxer: Outer Using a water resistant/waterproof fabric only on the outer of the original boxer will create water resistance, but not ensure waterproofing. Suggested fabrics include: Taslan; PUL, Supplex, Ripstop (suggested that this material, if 'shiny' finish, be lined); Washable wool (treated to provide water resistance) Inner Waterproofing can be achieved through using DWR Stretch fleece. Wool interlock, properly treated, could also be used, but mind that the fabric wash instruction is the same for the entire boxer compilation (ie, if using wool interlock on the inner, sew with a wool outer so-as to have the same wash instruction and use the snap-out insert pattern variation rather than the sew-in) Using a water resistant/waterproof fabric only on the outer of the original boxer will create water resistance, but not ensure waterproofing.
