Organic cotton fabrics such as fleece and french terry for clothing or diaper making, and knit conventional cotton fabric in solids and prints.
Cotton crops account for about 25% of all pesticide use worldwide. These pesticides leak into local groundwater, destroy natural habitats, and wreak havoc on soil fertility. Many of us choose cloth diapering to minimize our impact on the environment and for health reasons for our children. It's seems natural that many of us would choose to make our own diapers, and to make them out of organic cottons. Because of the lack of pesticides, it is gentler on baby's tender skin and perfect for the extra sensitive skin in the diaper area.
